Primarily self taught, Carol Phillips grew up nestled near a rich riverside forest in picturesque Oregon. Although she has a love for portraiture and landscapes, Carol's work is primarily figurative and fantasy oriented. As a child wrapped in nature and she emmersed herself in her creativity and imagination and dream opening the door to the fantasy world.

“My art is personal” Carol says “In everything I create there is a piece of my self , this world, and the many various dimensions and worlds within this world. I want my work to evoke emotion in my viewers; I want them to to feel, to question, to see, and to hope. The beauty and mysteries of the alternative realm of fantasy continue to fascinate me and I wish to share it's fantastic reality with others. So that they too may get a glimpse through an artists eye as I continue to depict this mysterious beauty in my work.”
